Dr. Sandeep is an accomplished legal and compliance expert holding a Doctorate in “Risk Management of Artificial Integration & Legal Barriers in the Realm of Healthcare Business” (Concentration – Strategic Leadership for the 21st Century) from Westcliff University, Irvine, California. He also holds a Qualifi Level 8 Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership, an Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) recognized and World Education Services (WES) listed Level 8 Diploma from the United Kingdom, along with an MBA in International Business, a Law Degree, and a B.A. in English Literature.
He possesses over two decades of hands-on experience advising boards and executives on legal, regulatory, and risk matters across the UAE, GCC, India, and cross-border jurisdictions, particularly in the healthcare and financial services sectors. Dr. Sandeep has served as Head of Legal and Compliance, with extensive experience in handling and optimizing legal, regulatory, and AML/CFT compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions for regional groups. He is skilled in formulating legal strategies aligned with organizational growth, governance, and risk management, with a strong emphasis on overall regulatory compliance in diverse business operations.
His experience includes significant in-house legal roles in the banking and healthcare sectors, managing legal affairs for hospitals, clinics, and pharmaceutical concerns, and dealing with compliance, recovery, and dispute resolution issues. He also advises conglomerate groups in the UAE, GCC, and globally on corporate governance, commercial agreements, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory matters. Dr. Sandeep has worked across diverse sectors, including banking, healthcare, education, property, construction, engineering, trading, and services, providing expert counsel based on his extensive understanding of global legal operations and stakeholder management.
In the healthcare and life sciences sector, he advises leading healthcare platforms on regulatory compliance, medical and commercial disputes, contracts, recoveries, and risk controls for multi-location operations in the region. In banking, financial services, and asset reconstruction, his expertise spans asset reconstruction, housing finance, banking, and auto finance, with extensive experience in NPA management, mortgage recovery, restructuring, and retail asset strategies. In cross-border corporate and commercial matters, he specializes in drafting and vetting MOUs, MOAs, and a wide range of commercial, construction, and service agreements, as well as overseeing litigation, arbitration, recoveries, and settlements across the UAE, GCC, and India.
